My “Artist’s Prayer”. I always open my coaching sessions with prayer. Here is one of my favorites:

Creator of all beauty, thank you for the gift of imagination and the spark that draws me to make things with my hands. As I step into this creative space, quiet the noise of distraction and self-doubt within me.

Grant me patience when the work is difficult, courage to take risks and embrace “mistakes”, and freedom from the pressure of perfection. May these materials – whether yarn, paint, charcoal, or clay – become extensions of a joyful and untamed spirit.

Let this work be an act of quiet praise and a reflection of the wonder you have woven into the world. Breathe life into what I create, and let the process bring peace to my soul. Amen.
